INTERVIEW WITH KSENIA LADONINA – INTERIOR DESIGNER

Interior designers are creating real pieces of art: in designer's imagination empty rooms transform into a masterpiece. We would like to introduce a creator of coziness and comfort to you - Ksenia Ladonina designer and owner of  "Perfect renovation. Sergey Svetlakov’s kitchen” project from this TV show.

FACTURA:e="color:black"> Why did you decide to dedicate yourself to this work?

Ksenia: My sister was an interior designer and she asked for my help one day in 2002. I started my career with construction “supplier”: I have been exploring all the materials and the construction process from the inside. In a half of a year I realized I want to move forward in this sphere. Then I started my professional training.

FACTURA: round-color:white">What project is the most memorable for you? Why?

Ksenia: There were so many of them. But there was a project for a night club in Tver that I remember so well for its work scope, goals and a team which has been working for this project from the beginning to the end. I can also mention a project for "Perfect renovation" on the "1st Channel" - I was impressed by the work spirit, everything was with vibes and so unusual from the mind's idea, negotiations with suppliers to an existing project filming. Now I would mention hookah lounges for “Moshookah” and a new barbershop.

FACTURA:yle="line-height:24px"> Where do you seek inspiration for interiors?

Ksenia: On exhibitions abroad - Paris, Milan, London (I also dream to get to US), sometimes while seeing project on special web sites, but 90% of them are foreign. Exhibitions are feeding you so intensively with new ideas, inspiration and make you eager to create. And unconditionally customers itself give you motivation and energy and places determine new ideas.

FACTURA: How do you help your customers to determine their own style?

-style:normal">Ksenia: It is only after a talk with them, when I heard their thoughts, understood their lifestyle. And I always explaining and demonstrating, as customers may not be aware of something or not understanding or understanding style in their own way. There were projects where wishes and opinions were changing along with our work process.

FACTURA: What do you like the most in interior design work? What techniques do you use more often?

style="caret-color:#000000">Ksenia: The most interesting starts when renovating space is getting its own traits. The most interesting stage is when finish materials are coming and all the beauty of design renderings and from my imagination is turning real and tangible. It is impossible to say what I use more often…each project is unique.

FACTURA: Do you have materials you love the most to work with?

an style="font-size:14px;">Ksenia: I do not have favorite ones, I am gathering everything case by case. According to a place appearance, according to budget, which is very important to count and not to forget about. It is possible to come up with anything, but are your customers able to implement it within a budget? 

-size:14px;">FACTURA: According to your experience what is the most often mistake people make in interior design?

Ksenia: 000"> 't They do not consult with a designer. This is the biggest mistake. Actually designer can always help with both technical perspective (from plugs to storage order) and esthetic one (to gather all the wishes to the one link, so that all of them are matching to each other and satisfying customers for a long time).

FACTURA: What advice would you give to newcomers in design and to ones who want to design interior for themselves?

">Ksenia: Watch more professional interiors on special web resources. Most important to choose right resources.

Ksenia: Wallpapers attracted me with unusual design. They are really all purpose, they fit almost every style and interior. The quality is also excellent.
